Q: What are the benefits of Reelspace?
Reelspace makes it easy to share video moments with people you know. With just a few taps, you can share videos with multiple groups and bookmark videos that you love. Plus, our secure cloud storage eliminates the hassle of storing video files across your personal devices.
Have a new member of the family? Record special moments and everyday updates and share with relatives without clogging up your device storage.
Belong to a sports team? Capture training sessions and competitive moments and easily share with the team and your family.
Need to collaborate with co-workers? Record a narrated video and add timestamped comments to clarify points and get on the same page.
Q: What are Spaces?
We are built around the concept of small groups, not public forums. Our "Spaces" feature allows you to create private groups and invite only the people you want into them, much like a messaging group. We make it easy to share with several groups at once by allowing you to post a moment into multiple Spaces. And of course, you can adjust sharing settings at anytime.
Q: What are Memories?
We store video moments for 30 days in our secure cloud, and they are automatically removed by our system unless you add them to “Memories,” where they will be stored indefinitely. This makes it easy to share both special moments and everyday updates without cluttering your personal devices. If you remove a moment from Memories, it will still be available for 30 days (in case you change your mind).
Q: Where’s my moment? I took a video, and shared it, but I don’t see it.
There are a few reasons why you may not see a video moment.
The moment has not been uploaded yet. If a moment cannot be uploaded immediately, it will be saved into an upload queue. Moments are uploaded as long as (1) you keep the Reelspace app open, (2) there is enough network connectivity for the upload to complete, and (3) you have not paused the upload process. Once the upload is complete your video will become available in the Space(s) that you designated.
The moment was not shared into your current Space. The activity feed in the Reel tab only displays moments for a single Space at a time. Sometimes you may be in a Space, capture a moment, and then share it in a different Space. In that case, you would need to switch to that other Space to see your newly shared moment.
The moment is not included in your current filter. If you’ve applied a filter like “My Memories” to the activity feed in your Reel, it will not include a moment that you’ve just uploaded. You may need to remove the filter to see your moment.
Q: I paid for a Reelspace+ subscription, but it’s not being recognized - what’s going on?
First, we want to say thank you for supporting us with a subscription! Sometimes when you first purchase a subscription, the app might not automatically reflect your purchase. To fix this, just tap on the “Restore Subscription” link on the subscription page. If for some reason you are still having issues with your subscription, please email us at help@reelspace.com and we will get back to you right away.
Q: What is Reelbot?
Reelbot is an AI character that makes comments on some of your moments. These comments are intended for entertainment purposes only, and not intended as advice, information or instruction. At the end of the day, we hope that Reelbot’s commentary will lighten your mood, or if we're lucky, put a smile on your face.
